Twentieth Century Blues brings you a collection of early 20th century blues. Inspired by the excellent collection, Steppin’ On The Blues from Lonnie Johnson, this episode explores Johnson himself, as well as Bessie Smith, Texas Alexander, and Louis Armstrong and his original Hot Five band. This episode also features contributions from Eddie Lang, AKA Blind Will Dunn. Jump into the time machine! Let’s get the blues!
